What you probably want to know first
How much do I have to share?
One thing: your date of birth. Sun sign, Chinese zodiac, day pillar and Moon sign are all computed server-side — you never type them in, and nothing goes to a third party. You can add your birth time later in settings; that unlocks your Moon sign and full four pillars.
Is anyone actually online?
Everyone in the pool tapped Start Matching a moment ago and is waiting for you. It is not a list of thousands you browse — the pool is live, and when it is quiet the app says so rather than leaving you hanging for 90 seconds.
How is compatibility scored?
Out of 100. The western system carries 60: element relations, modality and sign pairing. The eastern system carries 40: zodiac relations and the day pillar's five-element generating/overcoming cycle. The compatibility page shows where every point came from.
Does it cost anything?
No. Everything is free right now, including 3 matches a day. A chance is only spent when you actually match — a timeout costs you nothing.
Can anyone else see my chats?
No. A private chat is visible only to the two people matched. It never appears in the plaza or on a public profile, and you can delete any conversation at any time.
Why can't I just search for people?
You can search, but you will mostly find people who are not looking to talk. The premise here is that two people arrived at the same moment for the same reason — today's sky is the same for both of you.
